Niels van der Eng
Head of Research
Niels graduated with honors in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and wrote his thesis on the influence of personality and leadership on employees’ attitude towards organizational change. He started working at TEN HAVE Change Management in 2009 and he is currently Head of Research.
He is also doing Ph.D. research on the subject of Change Competence: the ability of large, complex organizations to change effectively. ‘Which factors increase the change capacity?’ and ‘How do you develop an adequate change vision?’ are questions he investigates.
He is coauthor of the book Veranderkracht – Succesvol doelen realiseren (2013) – which was published worldwide under the name Change Competence – Implementing Effective Change (2015). He is also (co)author of several articles and book chapters on the field of change management. He lectures at the postgraduate course Change Management and the course Occupational and Organizational Psychology at the VU University in Amsterdam.
