Team scan: core needs and drivers

Core Needs and Drives
Understanding core social needs and beliefs is crucial because change directly touches on what drives people and how they experience cooperation. When basic needs such as connection, trust and recognition are ignored, resistance is created; when they are included, support and energy are created. By making these needs and beliefs explicit, deep insight is gained into what people really find important and where the starting points for change lie.

What to do

  • Systematically identify the core social needs and beliefs of stakeholders in interactive sessions ranging from 5 to 50 participants.
  • During these sessions, we take position in the space and have an in-depth conversation with each other about what these needs and beliefs mean for the individual, the team and the organization.
  • We then translate the insights into concrete starting points to purposefully strengthen behavior, collaboration and change processes.

What it delivers
The result is a keen understanding of the social dynamics that support or hinder change, and concrete starting points for developing behavior and collaboration in a goal-oriented way.
