Stefan Smit

Since 2008, I am working as a consultant at TEN HAVE Change Management. I have a background in Technical Business Administration (Eindhoven University of Technology). Before I started working at TEN HAVE Change Management, I worked at IBM as an information analyst, consultant and manager in various international assignments focused on financial systems. Later, I supervised a fundamental organizational and cultural change at Staatsbosbeheer as an internal organization consultant for a few years.

In these various positions my work focused on either the hard or the soft side of change. The integration of both, and the associated complexity, characterizes the TEN HAVE Change Management approach. By working from this complete and integrated approach I help organizations effectively with their change tasks. I do this for clients in very diverse sectors, including financial, IT, and health care, with an emphasis on organizational design, culture and leadership issues.

In addition to working with organizations on their issues, I provide trainings and education in the field of change management. This is done internally in organizations, but also at the MBA Healthcare and other courses at the University of Amsterdam. I am also committed to the further development of our field by contributing to various recently published books and specifically the further development of our ideas about cultural change.
